![]() On September 19th in Washington D.C. at Jin Lounge on U Street, fabulous artist performance artist Christine Walters will paint the abstract of my story of surviving over 9 years of growing up while being trafficked on the streets of New York City. This event will benefit non profit Seraphim Global and their services to help victims and survivors of human trafficking. This painting is part of Christine Walters 5 years series titled, "Used and Discarded" that aims to showcase our 'throw away' society and how even human beings are being used and discarded like I was when I was trafficked from the age of 12. You can purchase tickets at eventbrite, and also see Christine's art and events at ChristineWalterstheartist.com I urge you all to come out this event will not be just another fundraiser, it will be impactful and powerful and more.
